Figure 03 humanoid enters BMW assembly line pilot
100 units begin live production work in Spartanburg - the largest humanoid deployment in a US factory to date.
Figure has begun a 100-unit deployment of its 03 humanoid platform inside BMW's Spartanburg, SC plant, focused on body-shop fastener handling and material kitting. The robots run Figure's in-house Helix VLA model and operate on a continuous shift schedule with human supervision. Figure says the pilot will scale to 400 units across two more BMW sites in 2026.
