Overview
A17News respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our Services to do the same. This page explains how we handle copyright on our platform and how rights-holders can request removal of content.
Every bulletin on A17News consists of a short headline, a brief summary, and a direct link to the original source. Summaries are produced through an AI-assisted editorial process: our systems monitor publicly available sources, an AI model generates an independent summary of the reported facts, and a human editor reviews and approves the output before publication. We do not reproduce full articles, images, or other substantial portions of third-party works. The underlying news events and facts reported by third parties are not subject to copyright; only the specific creative expression of an article is protected, and our summaries are independently generated in new language with attribution and a link to the original source.
Our original content
The A17News name, logo, and site design are protected by copyright and owned by A17News. All rights reserved. Our bulletin summaries are produced through an AI-assisted editorial process with human oversight and are owned by A17News to the extent permitted by applicable law. The copyright status of AI-assisted content continues to evolve; we assert ownership over the editorial selection, structure, and human creative contributions in our published output.
You may quote brief excerpts (a sentence or two) with clear attribution and a link back to the original bulletin URL. Any other reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of our original content requires prior written consent. Contact us at [email protected].
Third-party content
Bulletins link to articles, posts, and other content published by third parties. That content belongs to its respective publishers. A17News does not host, cache, or reproduce those works. Our summaries are independently generated descriptions of publicly reported facts and are not substitutes for, nor reproductions of, the linked source material.
If you believe a link on our site points to content that infringes your copyright, please contact the publisher of that content directly. We can remove a link from our feed upon a valid request as described below.
